Prix public : 15,00 €

Résumé : A testimony to the eventful life of a fighter pilot and his family during twenty-one years, from 1976 to 1997. The mythical airplanes of this era, the traditions of the French Air Force and the Royal Air Force “RAF”, the anecdotes both operational and familial are told very freely and are a treat for any amateur of ordinary destinies made extraordinary. Auteur(s) : The author, Joel Lebrun, was born in 1957. He has spent a 21 years long career in the Air Force, mainly as a fighter pilot. The biggest part of it, almost eight years was in the “1/11 Roussillon” Jaguar squadron. Another important chapter is the three years as exchange pilot in RAF Chivenor in England, just before joining the tanker force in south of France. He then became an instructor on flight simulators in Toulouse at the Airbus aircraft manufacturer. He is currently working in Hong Kong as the Deputy Simulator Training manager (Airbus) for Cathay Pacific Airways.
